Structures that do this by utilizing advanced techniques and processes to promote energy and water efficiency are termed "green buildings." The most widely accepted certifying system is the United States Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or "LEED." LEED Administration is the process of collecting and documenting the credits necessary to achieve certification.
The Stone House Group provides a dynamic, integrated approach to documenting. Our team also supports the design team through Sustainable Building Design consulting and can perform energy modeling, a LEED function that determines the proposed building's energy savings compared to a baseline defined by ASHRAE. The Stone House Group is familiar with the different rating systems and has experience positioning the client on the spectrum of LEED performance based on their needs.
