The Stone House Group
Environmental Sustainability Assessment

By what metrics would you measure and in what direction would you follow to achieve to environmental excellence at your institution?
The Stone House Group generates an Environmental Sustainability Assessment and plan for implementation, which is a non-regulatory review of environmental performance for the campus. The strategies include a wide range of ideas, encompassing both technical and behavioral solutions. Some behavioral solutions require an educational component which The Stone House Group can make available. Having spoken widely to national audiences, our firm offers training and other educational opportunities on sustainable development, water consumption, energy use and related issues to enrich the curriculum at educational institutions and our professional clients.
Related to the service, the firm also recognizes the campus-wide framework of the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) developed by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). STARS is a voluntary, self-reporting framework for gauging relative progress toward sustainability for colleges and universities.
