Mr. Eighmy is a founder and Managing Principal of The Stone House Group. The firm provides technical, operational and green consulting to not-for profit clients. Typical services include owner's representation for large capital projects, commissioning, utility master planning and LEED® support and administration. Current clients include Lawrenceville School, St. Paul's School (NH), Hotchkiss School, Springside School, Greenwich Academy, Pingry School, Hershey Medical Center and Gettysburg College.
Most recently, Mr. Eighmy conducted a four-day LEED charrette with the Building Environment and Energy Efficient Design Research Center at the China Southwest Architectural Design and Research Institute Corporation Ltd., which focused on sustainable design and development of more than 200 schools in the Sichuan Provence of China. Mr. Eighmy has contributed to master plans for Skidmore College, Gettysburg College, Franklin and Marshall College, Dickinson College and the Riverside Osteopathic Hospital (Detroit). He has more recently overseen the renovation of the Majestic Theater and a comprehensive energy and environmental assessment for St Paul's. He is currently working on a project for the Philadelphia Area Independent School Business Officers' Association (PAISBOA) to benchmark the energy cost and consumption and carbon footprint of 130 institutions. Mr. Eighmy has given presentations and/or keynote addresses at NAIS, NBOA, ABOPS, NJAIS, AISNE, ISAS, NACUBO and PAISBOA. Mr. Eighmy is a graduate of Middlebury College and Kent School. He has served on the Vestry of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Green Schools Alliance. He is also serving as a Trustee for Moravian Academy and on the Advisory Committee of the Saucon Valley Conservancy. Mr. Eighmy attended Carnegie Mellon University, Graduate School of Industrial Administration, and Harvard University Graduate School of Design, he is a member of American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), Association of Physical Plant Operators (APPO), National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and University Business Officers (NACUBO), and the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP).
